St. Geevarghese Mar Gregorios (St. Gregorios of Parumala/ Parumala Thirumeni) is our patron saint. He was born on 15 June 1848 in Kerala. He led a holy and simple life, filled with prayer, humility, and deep love for others.
He was consecrated as a bishop at a young age and dedicated his life to serving people, especially the poor and the needy. He guided many in faith and inspired them through his compassion, wisdom, and devotion to God. Even today, thousands of devotees visit his sacred tomb at Parumala Church, seeking his blessings and experiencing spiritual comfort. He passed away on 2 November 1902 and was later canonized as a saint by the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. St. Gregorios is remembered for his miracles, simplicity, and unwavering faith. His life continues to inspire generations to walk the path of righteousness.
